You have worked hard all year and I am very proud you. This second grade class of 2012-13 has been one of my favorites! Our last week together will be filled with a few special activities so come prepared to have fun.
We will celebrate summer birthdays in the afternoon outside .The party will begin at 1:30 guests invited. We will honor Jaselyn, Damon, Danielle, Melissa, John and Jaxton. Thank you to the parents of those students for planning the party.
Tuesday 5/14
We will celebrate school wide with a Luau party. Students will have a full day of planned activities inside and out! Please we still need volunteers to help call the office if you can help run a station and plan on spending the day with Mill Creek. Students are invited to bring a pillow to school on this day for the movie. Please wear Hawaiian clothes. If you wear flip flops or sandals this day you should also bring a pair of tennis shoes for the race course please bring water bottles if it is a hot day.
Wednesday, 5/15
Bubble Gum and Shaving cream party we will spend part of our day cleaning our room and packing up our desk supplies everything will go home today. Please remember you are not to bring a backpack tomorrow! In the afternoon we will have favorite game day, students are to bring their favorite board games, electronic games, any game that they would like to share!
We will have an all school assembly at 9:30 parents are welcome, followed by recess. We will have our own classroom awards (students voted) Most likely to….Best…..I can’t wait to see the results! Report cards will come home in an envelope along with a free pass to the Idaho Aquarium as a yearend gift! There will be no lunch served dismissal is at 11:50.
