Today we had a guest speaker from Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge located in
Nampa. Our speaker talked about animal camouflage, showed us some great
pictures, and even brought in some real examples! Ask your child what the three
reasons an animal uses camouflage are. (To find and capture prey, to hide from
predators, and to keep their young safe.)
